Sodno tolmačenje


Sodni tolmači so posebej usposobljeni in imenovani za tolmačenje sodnih postopkov. Z objavo v uradnem listu jih mora imenovati minister za pravosodje, ki hkrati opredeli tudi jezik, za katerega je tolmač imenovan. Pred imenovanjem morajo opraviti tudi preizkus znanja za sodnega tolmača.

Njihova glavna naloga je tolmačenje v sodnih postopkih ali sodno overjeni prevodi različnih listin.

Tolmačenje sodnih razprav je lahko simultano ali konsekutivno. Na sodiščih se zaradi narave tolmačenja večkrat uporablja konsekutivno, saj lahko pri simultanem tolmačenju zaradi hitrosti pride do neželenih napak.
